Cancellation Policy

Brisbane Tool Hire is operated by The Trustee for Banks Unit Trust (ABN 41 733 662 904) ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens if you cancel or change a booking.
Cancelling more than 48 hours before the start
Full refund of the hire fee, delivery fee and bond.
Cancelling within 48 hours of the start
50% of the hire fee is refunded. Any delivery fee for a delivery that has not happened, and the full bond, are refunded.
Bond
If the equipment is not hired out to you, the bond is always refunded in full.
No-shows and early returns
If you don't collect or receive the equipment at the arranged time and don't contact us, it is treated as a cancellation within 48 hours. Returning equipment early does not normally earn a refund for unused days, but contact us and we'll consider it.
If we cancel
If we cancel, or the equipment is faulty or unavailable, you get a full refund.
How to cancel
Email chris.banks0@gmail.com with your booking reference. Refunds go back to your original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other law that cannot be excluded. Where we are allowed to limit our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited (at our option) to re-supplying the hire or refunding the hire fee.
